This is a petition filed under section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal for a period of three months for publishing the Arbitral Award.

The mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has expired on 07.03.2025. 3.

Mr. Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the delay in concluding the arbitral proceedings was caused due to the learned Arbitrator being unwell for some time.

It is stated that the parties have addressed final arguments and the matter is now listed for pronouncement of award.

For the said reasons, issue notice. Mr. Johri, learned counsel for the respondent accepts notice and states that he has no objection to the petition being allowed.

For the said reasons, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a period of three months from today. 8.
