The present petition under Section 14 and 15 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner seeking substitution of the Arbitrator.

Material on record indicates that this Court vide Order dated 12.10.2022 passed in ARB.P. 393/2022 had constituted an Arbitral Tribunal comprising of a Sole Arbitrator. It is stated that the said Arbitrator has now been elevated as a Judge of this Court and, therefore, the present petition has been filed for substitution of the Arbitrator. 3.

Learned Counsel for the Respondent appears on advance notice. He states that he has no objection for appointment of a substituted Arbitrator. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to appoint Mr. Anil Kaushik, Sr. Advocate (Mob No:9810414419) as the Arbitrator to adjudicate upon the disputes between the parties.
