By way of present petition filed under Section, the petitioners seek following prayers :- "It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble court may be pleased to pass an order/writ of mandamus or of any other nature thereby directing the concerned police to provide adequate security to the petitioners and also not to initiate any action against the petitioners." 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that petitioners are majors and out of their free will have entered into the wedlock on 29.02.2024. Marriage certificate in this regard has been placed on record. Petition is also accompanied by Aadhar Cards of both the petitioners reflecting their age to be major. Learned counsel further states that petitioners shall disclose their present residential address to the concerned SHO. Issue notice.

Mr. Sinha, learned ASC for the State accepts notice and states that mobile phone numbers of the concerned SHO as well as Beat Officer shall be provided to the petitioners.

Considering that petitioners are major who have married each other, respondent Nos. 1 to 3 are directed to ensure that adequate measures be taken to ensure the safety of the petitioners. Respondent Nos. 4 and 5 are also directed not to interfere with the married and peaceful life of the petitioners in any manner.

Petition is disposed of with the above observations alongwith miscellaneous application.
