A Criminal Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of Cr.P.C has been filed on behalf of the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No.60/2024 under Section 308/34 registered at Police Station Mayapuri.

Briefly stated, the petitioners and respondent No.2 are local residents living in the neighbourhood and that a fight had taken place over parking issue. under Section 308/34 IPC, has been registered against the petitioners. 3.

It is submitted that the petitioners are in Government job and are highly repentant.

The petitioners had also made a counter-complaint, though no FIR was registered. The petitioners and respondent No. 2 have already sorted out their all differences vide Settlement Deed dated 01.03.2024, with the intervention of their respective persons of the vicinity and they have left no grudge or grievance against each other in any manner whatsoever. The matter has been settled on behalf of the victim by his father/respondent No.2. Therefore, the Petition be quashed. 4.

The complainant is present in the Court and submits that the matter stands settled with the petitioners without any pressure, force or coercion. They parties undertake to abide by the terms of the Settlement arrived at between them vide Settlement Deed dated 01.03.2024. She has no objection if the FIR is quashed against the petitioners as well as other accused persons on account of the settlement already arrived at between the parties. 5.

In view of the submissions made, the Petition is allowed.

Accordingly, the FIR bearing No. 60/2024 registered at Police Station Mayapuri, for offences punishable under Sections 308/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 with all the subsequent proceedings and the charge sheet is hereby quashed qua all the accused persons/petitioners. 6.

The Petition stands disposed of.
