The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued for expediting the trial stemming from FIR No. 193/2018 under Section 406/420/120-B of the IPC registered with P.S. Karol Bagh.

The said FIR was registered on 19.04.2018. It is stated that a chargesheet was filed, however, charges could not be framed as the petitioner (complainant) had filed a protest petition and the accused had also filed petitions for framing of charges. The protest petition filed by the petitioner was rejected by an order dated 29.07.2019. The objections raised by the accused were also dismissed by an order dated 16.09.2019. 3.

The matter is now listed for framing of charge before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate on 30.09.2019. It is expected that the learned M.M. would frame charges on the said date and shall proceed with the case as

expeditiously as possible given the constraints of his board. 4.

No further orders are required to be passed in this petition. 5.

The same is disposed of.
