The present petition has been filed by the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, seeking directions to the Respondents to allow the Petitioner to issue the Certificate of Vending to the Petitioner. 3.

On the previous date i.e., 10th April, 2026, this Court had passed the following directions:

3. The Petitioner has been surveyed in the recent survey conducted by the Town Vending Committee (hereinafter, TVC), however, no COV has been issued to him till date.

be finalising the list of the vendors to whom COV has to be issued pursuant to the recent survey.

5. Let the instructions in respect of the Petitioner be obtained by the NDMC and a status report in this regard be filed by the next date of hearing..." 4.

Today, the 'Minutes of meeting' dated 15th April, 2026 of the Town Vending Committee (hereinafter, 'TVC'), NDMC has been placed on record by ld. Counsel for the New Delhi Municipal Council (hereinafter, 'NDMC'). The same is taken on record.

As per the said 'Minutes of meeting', a list of 1021 applicants is stated to have been approved for the issuance of Certificate of Vending (CoV), by the TVC.

Mr. Peechara, ld. Counsel for the NDMC submits that the list is likely to be released shortly.

Further, ld. Counsel for the NDMC, under instructions, submits that in all likelihood, the Petitioner has been found as eligible for vending. 8.

Once the list is released within two weeks, subject to the Petitioner's name being found in the approved list of vendors, it is directed that the Petitioner shall not be disturbed from his vending, in any manner whatsoever, either by the NDMC or by the shopkeepers. The same is subject to the Petitioner adhering to the terms and conditions of the Provisional CoV. 9.

The present petition is disposed of in the above terms. Pending applications, if any, are also disposed of.
