The Petitioner is serving a life sentence in relation to his conviction in FIR No. 484/2003 under Section 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at P.S. Adarsh Nagar. Through the instant petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 20231 (earlier Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 19732), the Petitioner seeks extension of parole for a period of ten days to arrange for funds for an operation which his wife has to undergo.

In this regard, it is noted that on an earlier occasion, the Petitioner had made a similar request for grant of parole in W.P.(CRL) 793/2025 on the same ground that his wife has to undergo urgent surgery and he needs to 1 "BNSS"

arrange for appropriate funds for the same. This earlier request of the Petitioner was allowed by this Court vide order dated 10th March, 2025 in W.P.(CRL) 793/2025, for a period of ten days, in order to enable the Petitioner to attend to the urgent medical needs of his wife. 3.
However, through the instant petition, the Petitioner contends that the surgery could not be performed and as per the medical record annexed with the instant petition, the surgery is now likely to be performed on 24th March, 2025. In such circumstances, the Petitioner now seeks extension of parole granted to him vide order dated 10th March, 2025 in W.P.(CRL) 793/2025. 4.
Counsel for Petitioner, on instructions, gives an undertaking that no further extension shall be sought by the Petitioner on the abovementioned ground.

Considering the aforenoted circumstances, the parole granted to the Petitioner vide order dated 10th March, 2025 in W.P.(CRL) 793/2025, is extended till 30th March, 2025, on the same terms and conditions as mentioned in the said order.

It is made clear that no further extension of parole shall be granted to the Petitioner on the grounds of his wife's surgery. 7.
With the above directions, the present petition is disposed of, along with pending application.

Copy of the order be sent to the concerned Jail Superintendent, for necessary information and compliance.
