This public interest litigation has been preferred for the following prayers:- "a).

direct the Respondents No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 to immediate supply of complete dose/ full course of life saving "Anti-Rabies Vaccine" in the all Government Hospitals of Delhi (in their respective jurisdiction) and further directions to appoint permanent team of an experts from the department of health for monitoring/supervising the regular supply of full course/complete dose of "Anti-Rabbis Vaccine" in the all W.P.(C) 2727/2019 Page 1 of 3

Government Hospital of Delhi(in their respective jurisdiction), along with further directions to the respondent/respondents to disclose permanent team of an experts for monitoring on regular basis, on affidavit to this Hon'ble Court within time frame;

(b).

direct the Respondent / Respondents No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 to make available /supply the full course of "Anti-Rabbis Vaccine" in all (i) Mohalla Clinic, (ii) dispensary and (iii) Delhi Health Services (running in Supreme Court, Delhi High Court and all District Courts for advocates) run by Government of NCT of Delhi or Central Government, within time frame; (c).

direct the Respondent / Respondents No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 to develop the mechanism to vaccinate the people / School children in school/University /College with Anti-Rabies Vaccine, through the special drive with expert team of doctors time to time further directions the respondent/respondents to disclose on affidavit to this Hon'ble Court within time frame; (d).

May issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ / directions / order (s) / guidelines to Respondents No.1, 2, 3, 4, 5and 6to Control and Elimination of Human and Animal Rabies (with due care and caution) from Delhi/India within the time frame;

(e). Without prejudice to the generality of the above prayers above, that this Hon'ble High Court also be pleased to issue as Writ of Mandamus or a writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, directing the respondent/respondents no. 1and 2 to disclose on affidavit to this Hon'ble Court the action taken report/inquiry/investigation if initiated/done against the company till date, which imported the inferior quality or Sub standard "Anti-Rabbis Vaccine" and supplied in the market to cause loss of human life at large scale for the above together with applicable within time frames."

We have heard the petitioner who appears in person and learned counsel for the respondents. Learned counsel for respondent No.3 - New Delhi Municipal Council submits that there is a requirement of 7200 such Anti-Rabies vaccines per annum for the hospitals under them and they have already placed an order for 7200 Anti-Rabies Vaccines. 3.

We see no reason to ascertain as to in what quantity the Anti-Rabies Vaccines are available in each of the Government run Hospitals/Mohalla Clinics/Dispensaries. Suffice would be to direct the respondents concerned to ensure adequate supply of Anti Rabies Vaccines in the Government hospitals in Delhi.

Looking to this aspect of the matter and looking to the need of availability of Anti-Rabies Vaccines in the Government hospitals in Delhi, we hereby direct the concerned respondents to ensure adequate supply of Anti Rabies Vaccines in the Government hospitals in Delhi. In case the vaccines are not purchased, they may undertake the process of procuring these vaccines as per law, rules and regulations and Government policies applicable to the facts of the present case.

In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of along with the pending application.
