% 04.07.2024 Pursuant to last order dated 30.04.2024, Mr. Zeeshan Diwan, learned legal aid counsel has been heard on behalf of the complainant. The court is informed that chargesheet in the matter has been filed before the learned Trial Court.
The record shows that order dated 25.04.2023, whereby it was directed that subject to the petitioner joining and co-operating in the investigation he would not be arrested, has been continued from time-totime. By that order, the petitioner was also restrained from contacting the complainant or any other prosecution witnesses. There is no allegation that the petitioner has violated any terms or conditions of the interim protection so granted.

In the above circumstances, the present petition is disposed-of, granting to the petitioner liberty to approach the learned Trial Court to seek regular bail. In order to afford him sufficient time to do so, the interim protection granted vide order dated 25.04.2023 shall continue for a period of 04 weeks from today.
