The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, impugning a Show Cause notice dated 26.10.2018, calling upon the petitioner to show cause as to why action should not be initiated under Section 10(3)(c) of the Passport Act, 1967.

Mr Handoo, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that by the said Show Cause Notice, the respondent has also suspended the petitioner's passport with immediate effect.

Mr Diwakar, learned counsel appearing for the respondents states on

instructions that the petitioner's passport has not been suspended. 5.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition except to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's response to the aforesaid show cause notice before taking any further action. It is so directed.

The petition is disposed of.

The pending applications are also disposed of.
