O R D E R

The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR bearing no. 364/2017, under Sections 323/341/354/354B/379/506/34 of the IPC registered at PS Najafgarh, New Delhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom, be quashed.

The aforesaid FIR was registered at the instance of respondent no.2 (Ms Monika). She had reported that the accused had misbehaved with her and had outraged her modesty. She had also claimed that she and her mother (respondent no.3) had been beaten by the accused. 3.

Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present in Court. They state that they

have settled all their disputes in terms of a Memorandum of Understanding dated 15.01.2019 (MoU) arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2. In terms of the said MoU, both the respondents had agreed to withdraw the FIR in question.

In view of the above settlement, the present petition is allowed. 5.

Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present in Court and state that they have no grievance against the petitioners. The petitioners, who are identified by their counsel, are also present in Court and also state that they have no grievance against respondent nos. 2 and 3.

In view of the above, the present petition is allowed and FIR bearing No.

364/2017, under Sections 323/341/354/354B/379/506/34 of the IPC registered at PS Najafgarh, New Delhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, subject to payment of costs. 7.

The petitioner shall deposit a sum of ₹50,000/- as costs with the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee within a period of one week from today. Subject to the said deposit being made, the FIR in question stands quashed.

The petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 shall sign this order as an acknowledgement of their statements recorded herein. 9.

The Registry is directed to verify that the costs are deposited within the aforesaid period, failing which the Registry shall list this petition before this Court.
