The petitioner has filed this application for withdrawal of the captioned writ petition.

The writ petition concerns proceedings initiated under Section 81 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 ["DLR Act"] before the Revenue Authority.

The petitioner's contention in the writ petition is that the Revenue Assistant lacks jurisdiction, as the village in question was declared as a "low density residential area" by a notification dated 18.06.2013. 4.

Notice was issued in the writ petition on 25.04.2023, and the proceedings initiated under Section 81 of the DLR Act were stayed. 5.

Against this order, respondent No. 1 - Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi ["GNCTD"], approached the Division Bench by way of LPA No. 92/2024, contending that the Revenue Assistant retains jurisdiction despite the aforesaid notification. by order dated 02.02.2024, directed the parties, including the petitioner herein, to maintain status quo with regard to the use and construction of the land in question.

The petitioner has now filed the present application seeking withdrawal of the writ petition and a direction to the Revenue Assistant to proceed with the pending proceedings under Section 81 of the DLR Act. 7.

Mr. V.P. Rana, learned counsel for the petitioner, categorically states that the petitioner does not wish to press its objection to the jurisdiction of the Revenue Assistant.

In view of the above, the writ petition, alongwith the present application, is dismissed as withdrawn.

The Revenue Assistant may proceed with the matter as expeditiously as possible.

Mr. Rana further states that the petitioner will also make appropriate submissions before the Division Bench when the appeal is listed tomorrow, i.e. 09.05.2025.

However, it is made clear that the order of status quo granted by the Division Bench on 02.02.2024 will be subject to further orders of the Division Bench.
