This writ petition has been preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking the following relief:- "It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed this Hon'ble Court that may kindly be pleased to pass appropriate direction / order to respondent no. 2 for protect the life of Petitioner from the respondent no. 3 to 16 in the interest of justice."

Status report has been filed detailing the investigation and the steps taken so far. It is further stated by the State that in view of the facts and circumstances, mobile numbers of SHO/Anand Vihar, Division Officer, Beat Officer Ct. Pintu have already been provided to the Petitioner to contact in case of any emergency.

In view of the aforesaid, present petition is disposed of with a direction to the IO to ensure that the numbers of the SHO, PS: Anand Vihar, Division Officer and Beat Constable are provided to the Petitioner during the course of the day, on which the Petitioner will be free to call, in case of any help or assistance.

It is made clear that in case any such call for assistance/help is received from the Petitioner, the concerned Officer shall immediately respond and take necessary action failing which, liberty is given to the Petitioner to seek revival of the present petition, in accordance with law.
