O R D E R

% 05.01.2018 It is submitted that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have finally settled all their disputes before the Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre on 11th September, 2017, therefore, FIR No. 268/11 under Sections 323/325/34 IPC registered at police station Jagat Puri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. Petitioner nos. 2 to 4 are relatives of petitioner no. 1. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Praveen Chauhan of police station Jagat Puri. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners before the

Mediation Centre. She further submits that her marriage with the petitioner has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent dated 2nd January, 2018 passed by the Family Court, Shahdara District, Karkardooma Court, Delhi. Respondent no.2 submits that she has already received entire settled amount and she has no objection in case the FIR is quashed.

Keeping in view that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
