% 19.09.2024 1.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated in the present case. 2.

He submits that the FIR was registered alleging that the victim was beaten by the accused Salam and his friends. 3.

He submits that the only allegation was made against the accused Salam that he hit the victim with the rod. 4.

He submits that no role has been attributed to the petitioner in the FIR and the petitioner was also never identified by any of the witnesses or the victim.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State submits that the trial has since proceeded and only two witnesses remain to be examined.

He submits that the trial is likely to be concluded within a period of five to six months.

He submits that the victim during his deposition has identified the petitioner and the victim was also cross-examined The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. by the learned counsel who represented the petitioner before the learned Trial Court.

Considering the above, this Court does not consider it apposite to entertain the present petition at this stage and the same is hereby dismissed.

The petitioner is at liberty to take all arguments before the learned Trial Court at an appropriate stage.
