The present writ petition seeks quashing of FIR No. 192/2020 dated 31st March, 2022, under Section 3(1)(r) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 19891 and Sections 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at P.S. G.T.B. Enclave. 2.
The aforenoted FIR was registered pursuant to directions issued by the Metropolitan Magistrate, on 24th March, 2022, in terms of a complaint filed by the Complainant/Respondent No. 2 under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
