Petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.148/2025 dated 25.03.2025, registered at P.S. Badarpur, for commission of offences under Sections 420/34 IPC.

It is submitted that even if the allegations made in FIR are taken as gospel truth, it does not reveal any complicity or involvement of petitioner herein and that he has been named merely for the reason that he is the son of Smt. Mohini Devi, with whom the complainant Anjali Maurya was having some dispute.

Learned Addl. P.P. for the State appears on advance notice and submits that investigation is still going on. She also submits that partial quashing may not, even otherwise, be permissible in the eyes of law. 4.

After hearing arguments for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner, without prejudice to his rights and contentions, does not press the CRL.M.C. 2740/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. present petition at this stage, particularly, for the reason that investigation is still going on. He, however, seeks liberty to approach this Court again as and when investigation is over.
