By way of the present petition, the Petitioner essentially prays for quashing his transfer from one place to another. 4.

The Petitioner has remained posted in the State of Maharashtra for the last 13 years. Now, he has been transferred to Sukma, Chhattisgarh.

Learned counsel representing the Petitioner submits that such transfer is against certain policy instructions. 6.

they do not confer any legally enforceable right on the employees [Ref. Union of India and others v. S.L. Abbas : (1993) 4 SCC 357 and Shilpi Bose (Mrs) v. State of Bihar : 1991 Supp (2) SCC 659] 7.

Hence, the present petition is dismissed.
