Issue notice to the respondents.

Ms. Arunima Dwivedi accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.

With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is taken up for hearing and final disposal.

The petitioners have approached this court on several occasions. 6.

The last time the petitioners approached this court was on 26.11.2019 when W.P.(C)No.11312/2019 was disposed of.

The operative directions issued via the aforementioned order are as follows:

"4.

Accordingly, the impugned order dated 06.09.2019 is set aside. The matter is remanded to WRC for a fresh decision in the matter.

The petitioners will, however, submit the list of 16 faculty members. The WRC will examine the same and, thereafter, pass a fresh order.

The petitioners will submit the list within a period of one week from the date of receipt of the copy of the order. The WRC will pass a speaking order after hearing the authorised representative of the petitioners within a period of two weeks of receipt of the list.

To be noted, according to the petitioners, the list that is already placed on record by [sic: of] this Court has been approved by the affiliated [sic: affiliating] university. In case WRC has any doubt, it will ascertain the correct position from the concerned affiliating university."

It is the petitioners' case that upon receipt of a copy of the order, the requisite documents were served on the Regional Director of the Western Regional Committee (WRC) via letter dated 25.12.2019. 7.

This letter, according to Mr. Amitesh Kumar, who appears on behalf of the petitioners, was received by the WRC on 27.12.2019. 8.

Mr. Kumar submits that since additional documents were sought by the WRC, the same were also submitted on 26.02.2020. 9.

According to Mr. Kumar, there has been no movement in the matter since then.

It is Mr. Kumar's submission that the delay is impacting the petitioners' interest.

To be noted, the petitioners seek restoration of recognition qua B.Ed. course with an intake of 100 seats (two units). 12.

Given the aforesaid backdrop, the respondents are directed to process the petitioners' application for grant of recognition qua the aforementioned course in the next meeting convened by the WRC hereafter. 13.

Pending the disposal of petitioners' application, the WRC will restore the recognition qua the petitioner no.2 institute vis-à-vis the concerned B.Ed. course.

Furthermore, the WRC will also include petitioner no.2 institute in the list of recognized institutes available on its website pending decision on its application. The updation of the website will take place at the earliest, though, not later than 13.03.2020.

The captioned writ petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 16.
