By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner has made the following prayers:

"(1) Issue a Writ, Order or direction in the nature of Mandamus to the Respondent to set-aside the Rejection Order dt. 13.02.2025 passed by the Sentence Review Board;

(2) Issue a Writ, Order or direction in the nature of Mandamus to the Respondent directing the Sentence Review Board to grant premature release to the petitioner from the jail;

(3) Issue a Writ, Order or direction in the nature of "Mandamus to release the petitioner on parole during the pendency of the present writ petition;

(4) Issue a Writ, Order or direction in the nature of Mandamus to the Jail Authorities directing to transfer the petition- er to the Open jail till the pendency of the present writ petition; and/or" 2.

This Court notes that guidelines have been laid down by the Coordinate Bench vide judgment passed in W.P. (Crl.) No. 1/2025, titled Asif Alias Naeem v. State of NCT of Delhi & Anr., decided on 23.05.2025, by the Bench of Hon'ble Mr. Justice Sanjeev Narula. 3.
