% 06.03.2020 CM 9119/2020(permission to file dim/illegible and short font annexures) Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. WP(C) 2609/2020 & CM 9118/2020 This petition has been filed by the petitioner inter alia praying for the following reliefs:

"(i) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ, order or direction commanding the Respondent to grant import permits to the Petitioner In terms of the application dated 04.01.2020 submitted by the Petitioner for import of apple, pear and grapes plants;

(ii) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ, order or direction commanding the Respondent to pay damages to the Petitioner for the additional expenditure to be incurred by the Petitioner for importing the plants by air."

The learned counsel for the respondent, who appears on an advance notice, submits that the application of the petitioner will be considered by the EXIM Committee in its next meeting to be held on

11.03.2020.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to file afresh incase need so arises in future.
