Vide Order dated 19.02.2025 passed by this Court, the petitioner was directed to pay to the complainant a sum of Rs. 1,70,000/- within a period of four weeks by way of a demand draft/pay order.

Today, pursuant to the said Order, the petitioner has brought the demand draft dated 17.03.2025, bearing No. 169305, for a sum of Rs. 1,70,000/-, drawn on State Bank of India in favour of 'Jatoon'. The complainant is also present in Court and has been duly identified by the Investigating Officer. The demand draft has been handed over to The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. the complainant and she acknowledges to the receiving of the demand draft.

In view thereof, the petitioner's conviction vide judgment dated 07.12.2017 and also the sentencing order dated 19.12.2017 are set aside and the petitioner is acquitted of the offences punishable under Section 279/304-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. 4.

The petition, along with pending applications, stands disposed of.
