% 15.07.2016 This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to seek the quashing of FIR No. 262/2015 registered at police station Jagatpuri under Section 279/304A IPC.

The petition is premised on a compromise arrived at in mediation on 10.09.2015. The respondent No. 2 Farheen-mother of the deceased child who died in the accident, is present in court. She has also filed her affidavit in support of this petition. She is identified by IO as well as by her counsel Mr. Lokesh Kumar. She states that she does not wish to pursue her complaint any further and FIR may be quashed. Accordingly, the petitioner has tendered a pay order No. 005114 for Rs. 1 lakh in favour of respondent No. 2 Farheen, drawn on Axis Bank, Geeta Colony, New Delhi, which is

accepted by respondent No.2. The petitioner has assured that the said pay order shall be honoured on presentation. The petition is, accordingly, allowed and the FIR in question is quashed.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
