The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent no.1/MCD to not take any coercive action in respect of the petitioner's property situated at 4th Floor/Terrace at Plot No.99 and 100A, Near Fauji Farms, Rajpur Khurd Extension, New Delhi - 110068, till the time the stay application of the petitioner which is pending before the Appellate Tribunal, MCD (ATMCD), is taken up and considered on merits. 2.

It is stated that the appeal, along with the stay application, is yet to be decided by the ATMCD, and the next date of hearing is 30th July, 2026. Having heard the counsel for the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondent no.1/MCD not to take any coercive steps against the property of the petitioner, till the time the application for interim stay filed by the petitioner is decided by the ATMCD.

It is clarified that the aforesaid observations have been made without examining the merits of the matter.
