% 26.02.2016 The Petitioner in this petition filed as a Public Interest Litigation seeks to initiate disciplinary proceedings against the respondent No.5 who is working as a fitter in Delhi Jal Board on the ground of certain allegations made against him. The petitioner claims to be a social activist and working to promote and protect public interest.
Having regard to the settled principle of law that no PIL can be maintained in a service matter, we are not inclined to entertain this petition. W.P.(C) 1670/2016
Accordingly, the same is dismissed.
However, the petitioner is at liberty to institute appropriate proceedings as permissible under law afresh regarding the issue raised in this petition.
