The learned Additional Standing Counsel, at the outset, submits that the proceedings under Section 82 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, have already been initiated and, in such circumstances, the present bail application is not maintainable.

The learned counsel for the applicant, at this stage, seeks liberty to withdraw the present bail application and file an appropriate petition challenging the proceedings under Section 82 of the CrPC.
3.
The bail application stands dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
