% 20.02.2018 By this application, petitioner seeks interim bail for a period of 60 days on the ground of marriage of his daughter which is scheduled for 24th February, 2018. Factum of the marriage has been verified by the State. Learned APP has opposed the grant of interim bail to petitioner. It is submitted that petitioner's application for regular bail has already been rejected by a learned Single Judge of this Court on 4th February, 2016. Petitioner is involved in four other cases.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is already on bail in the said four cases.

In my view, presence of petitioner is necessary in the marriage of his daughter. Rejection of regular bail is not a ground for not considering the

prayer of interim bail. Accordingly, petitioner is granted interim bail for a period of three weeks from the date of his release, subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `20,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of trial court.

After completion of interim bail period, petitioner shall surrender before the concerned Superintendent Jail. Bail application is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
