O R D E R

% 10.08.2017 This is an application under Section 438 Cr.P..C filed on behalf of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.475/2015, under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC, registered at Police Station Pul Prahlad Pur, Delhi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and having no nexus with the allegations as alleged in the aforesaid FIR. Counsel further submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation in terms of the direction given vide order dated 29th March, 2017 and the petitioner is further ready to join the investigation as and when required to do so. Counsel further submits that the dowry articles have already been returned by the petitioner to the complainant and the petitioner is not required for custodial interrogation and prays that the petitioner may

be released on anticipatory bail.

Learned APP for the State on instructions from the Investigating Officer has submitted that the petitioner has joined the investigation and the dowry articles have also been returned by him to the complainant under the signatures of the Investigating Officer.

In these circumstances, the petitioner is further directed to join the investigation and in the event of his arrest the petitioner be released on anticipatory bail, on his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer/SHO concerned with the condition that the petitioner shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence and he shall not leave the country without prior permission of the concerned Court below. The present bail application is allowed and stands disposed of. Copy of this order be given dasti, as prayed. I.S.MEHTA, J AUGUST 10, 2017 'dc'
