% 25.03.2019 C.M. No. 13603/2019 Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. The application stands disposed of.

W.P.(C) 2925/2019 & C.M. No. 13604/2019 At the outset, Mr. Tikku, on instructions, states that the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present writ petition. The petition is, therefore, dismissed as withdrawn.

We notice that the petitioner has assailed the show cause notice dated 27.02.2012. On our query, we are informed that the proceedings in pursuance of the said show cause notice are continuing. In our view, the said proceedings have continued for 7 years and it is high time that the said

proceedings are brought to their logical conclusion. We direct the respondent to expedite the said proceedings. We also direct the respondents to ensure that all others, who may also be responsible for defrauding the amounts of the society - respondent No.2 in question are brought to book. However, this direction shall not be a reason for anyone to seek deferment of the ongoing proceedings.

The petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid observations. VIPIN SANGHI, J REKHA PALLI, J MARCH 25, 2019 N.Khanna
