These are petitions seeking quashing of summoning orders dated 17.01.2020 passed by the learned MM-03, North, Rohini Court, Delhi 2.

As per the said order, the petitioners were summoned for the offences under Section 499 and 500 of IPC on account of circulating defamatory messages against the respondent.

settlement, wherein the petitioners have filed an affidavits expressing regret for their actions in circulating the messages and also keeping in mind the best interest of the trust, to give a peaceful closure to the dispute.

The respondent has appeared through video conferencing mode and is agreeable to put a closure and the regret expressed by the petitioner is acceptable to him.

Since the offences are compoundable in nature and hence, with the consent of the respondent and in view of the affidavits filed in Court today, the offences stand compounded.

Consequently, the order dated 17.01.2020 stands quashed. 7.

It is expected and hoped that the parties will forget their differences and work towards a common goal and they will not make further any defamatory statements against each other and will work for the best interest of the temple run by Jain Sabha Dharmarth Trust. 8.

The Court expresses appreciation for the learned counsels for the parties.

Affidavits filed in Court today are taken on record. 10.

Since the issue is sensitive, the fact that the matter stands settled will only be circulated amongst the members.

The petitions are disposed of accordingly.
