After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the appellant states that the appellant may be permitted to withdraw the present appeal, however, some observations about expeditious disposal of the writ petition itself may be made.

Accordingly, the appeal stands dismissed as withdrawn. 3.

We, however, request the learned Single Judge to expedite the proceedings of the writ petition and decide the same as early as possible. 4.

For the said purpose, appropriate application may be moved by the parties before the learned Single Judge in the pending writ petition.
