By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs:

"i. Pass an appropriate Writ/Order/Direction directing the Ld. Trial Court to forthwith proceed with the matter and frame charges within a fixed time period, as may be deemed fit by this Hon'ble Court ii. Direct the Ld. Trial Court for expeditious and speedy trial in case bearing No. Cr. Cases 24847/2029 titled as "State vs. Jeevesh Sabharwal & Ors." in FIR No. 175/18 dated 05.09.2018, registered At PS: EOW, South-East, New The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. iii. Direct the Ld. Trial Court to try the case bearing No. Cr. Cases 24847/2029 titled as "State vs. Jeevesh Sabharwal & Ors." in FIR No. 175/18 dated 05.09.2018, registered At PS: EOW, South-East, New Delhi under Sections 406/409/420/120-B IPC in a time-bound manner." 4.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that he has previously filed a writ petition, i.e., W.P. (CRL.) 1866/2025, seeking expeditious disposal of the case, which was disposed of vide order dated 30.05.2025, and the paragraph 5 of the said order, which reads as under: "Accordingly, the learned Trial Court is requested to ensure that the trial in the aforesaid case proceeds expeditiously, since the FIR in this case pertains to the year 2018."

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that despite this order being passed, the learned Trial Court is not proceeding expeditiously and the case is at the same stage of compliance of Section 207 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (hereafter 'Cr.P.C.'). 6.

Considering that the FIR in this case was registered in the year 2018 and the chargesheet was filed in the year 2019, and the case is still at the stage of compliance under Section 207 of Cr.P.C. Therefore, the learned Trial Court is directed to ensure that there is compliance of Section 207 of Cr.PC, within a period of one month, from the next date of hearing, fixed before it.

The writ petition is disposed of with these directions. 8.
