The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the BNSS seeks following prayers: - "i . Pass a writ/order/direction in the nature of mandamus in favour of the petitioners and against the respondent No. l thereby directing the respondent No.l to grant the protection, safety and security to the precious life of the petitioners.

ii. Pass a writ/order/direction in the nature of mandamus in favour of the petitioners and against the respondent No. l thereby directing the respondent No. l to make ensure that the respondent no.2 should not inflict any kind of physically assault upon the petitioners. Any other order /relief/direction may also kindly be passed in favour of the petitioner and against the respondents as this Hon ' ble Court may deems fit, just and proper according to the facts and circumstances of the present case."

Learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State, who appears on advance notice, submits that mobile numbers of the concerned Beat Constable and the SHO of PS Adarsh Nagar has already been provided to the petitioners and in case of any exigency, the SHO concerned will respond promptly by taking necessary steps in accordance with law. 4.

In view of the above, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners seeks leave to withdraw the present petition. 5.
