This hearing has been done through hybrid mode. 2.

The present petition has been filed by the Petitioner/ClaimantAmardeep Builders under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitrator. 3.

It is the case of the Petitioner that it was awarded the workRedevelopment & Maintenance of Industrial Areas SH: Upgradation of Road & Drains etc. at Badli Industrial, Area Ph-I &II, by the Respondent vide letter dated 24th December, 2014.

According to the Petitioner, disputes arose between the parties and vide order dated 13th August, 2021 in ARB.P. 22/2021 a sole arbitrator was appointed. Further, the time for publishing the award has expired in the last week of February, 2024.

The Petitioner states that in arbitration proceedings dated 12th January, 2024 ld. extension of mandate of the Arbitrator for pronouncement of the arbitral award.

As per ld. Counsels, the matter is at the stage of final arguments. 7.

There were a total of three arbitration cases-ARB.P. 22/2021, ARB. P. 23/2021 and ARB. P. 24/2021. It is stated that two of these petitions are pending and in one case, the arbitral award is stated to have been pronounced.

The Court has perused a copy of the proceedings order dated 12th January, 2024 in the case titled 'M/s Amardeep Builders vs DSIIDC'. In view of the facts stated herein, the mandate of the Arbitrator is extended till 31st December, 2024.

Petition is disposed of.
