1. Counsel for the Petitioner seeks an interim direction to stay his impending retirement from the BSF on 31st March, 2019 consequent upon the judgment of this Court dated 31st January, 2019 in WP(C) No. 1951/2012 (Dev Sharma v. ITBP).

2. The attention of the counsel for the Petitioner has been drawn to the order passed by this Court on 4th February, 2019 in WP (C) No. 695/2019 (Ram Chander Kasania v. Union of India). In the said order this Court explained that in Dev Sharma v. ITBP (supra) this Court had granted the Respondents four months' time to take all consequential steps by way of implementation of the said judgment and what should happen in the interregnum for those who completed the age of superannuation as it presently stands. That order

would govern the case of the present Petitioner as well.

3. In that view of the matter, the prayer made in the petition is disposed of.
