Joint Commissioner of Police (JCP) Mr. Manish Kumar Aggarwal along with the SHO and IO is present. JCP submitted that he has already taken action against the erring officials and assured that such lapse shall not take place in future. A compliance report/explanation has already been filed on the record. JCP also assured that all the necessary instructions shall be passed to the officials of his area and the copy of the instructions shall be placed on the record within two weeks. 2.
Accordingly, the presence of JCP and SHO is dispensed with. SHO/IO are warned to remain careful in future.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that since the petitioners stand acquitted, he seeks permission to withdraw the petition. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
