O R D E R

Pursuant to our Order dated 27.03.2019, the petitioners have filed an affidavit dated 07.09.2024 wherein, it is, inter alia, stated as under:- "11. That from the above it is clear that average consumption of the Respondent of the premises in dispute is Rs. 3444/- per month and @Rs. 3000 per month what was being charged was Rs. 6,79,000/-. As per the first order dated 27.03.2019 the notice was issued for payment of 50% of the demanded amount.

Therefore, the Respondent should decide whether he would like to pay 50% of the demanded amount immediately or as per his own actual consumption bills average Rs.

3444/- per month which will be much more than what has been mentioned in the order of 27.03.2019."

that the respondent is willing to pay 50% of the demanded amount, however, prays that as the amount is substantial and the respondent is a person with disability, the amount be allowed to be paid in instalments.

Having considered the submissions, we direct that the respondent shall pay 50% of the demanded amount, that is, of Rs.6,79,000/-, to the petitioners in nine equal monthly instalments. Each instalment shall be paid to the petitioners on or before 10th day of each month, starting from October, 2025.

The petition, along with the pending application, is disposed of in the above terms.
