% 25.03.2025 CM APPL. 17177/2025 (delay of 823 days in filing the appeal) 1.

This application has been filed seeking condonation of delay of 823 days in filing of the present appeal.

2.

A perusal of the application shows that the entire blame has been placed on the file movement from one office to another and from one officer to another.

3.

The same cannot explain the delay of almost two and the half years in filing of the present appeal.

4.

The learned counsel for the appellant submits that the Impugned Order would have an effect on the rights of the other workmen as well. While we do not find that the appellant has shown any sufficient cause for condoning the delay and the appeal is liable to be dismissed The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 29/03/2025 at 14:45:06

on the ground of delay, we keep the question of law open to be adjudicated in appropriate proceedings, especially, keeping in view that the employee is not before us challenging the said Impugned Order.

5.

The application is accordingly dismissed and consequently, the appeal also stands dismissed.
