O R D E R

% 27.02.2017 Learned counsel for the petitioner and the complainant appearing in person submit that the matter has been settled between the parties. The petitioner has agreed to pay ₹5 lakhs in lieu of all the claims of the complainant who has agreed to seek divorce by mutual consent. A draft for ₹2 lakhs bearing No.602879 dated 21st February, 2017 drawn on Oriental bank of Commerce has been handed over to the complainant who is present in Court and identified by the investigating officer. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that second draft of ₹2 lakh will be given to the complainant at the time of recording of statement of second motion and remaining ₹1 lakh at the time of quashing of the FIR No.1355/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at PS Tilak Nagar. Considering the fact that one instalment of ₹2 lakhs has already been

handed over to the complainant and the parties have settled the matter, this court deems it fit to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. It is therefore directed that in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25000/- with one surety of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/SHO concerned, further subject to the condition that the petitioner will join the investigation as and when directed and will not leave the country without prior permission of the Court concerned.

Petition is disposed of.
