The matter has been put up today on Office Noting, wherein it is submitted that the petitioner has not yet surrendered himself before Jail Authority after being granted Parole for a period of 30 days vide Order dated 30.05.2024.

Vide Order dated 25.07.2024, the petitioner's Parole was extended for one week and he was to surrender on 31.07.2024. However, the petitioner has failed to surrender till date. 2.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the State apprises the Court that the petitioner has been exempted from surrendering till 09.09.2024 by the Apex Court vide SLP (Crl.) 32562/2024 filed on behalf of the petitioner.

A copy of the aforesaid Order exemption the petitioner to surrender till 9.09.2024 has been handed over today in the Court.
