The instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ('Cr.P.C.') has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking extension of parole granted vide order dated 23.02.2024.

Issue Notice, Mr. Amol Sinha, learned ASC accepts notice on behalf of the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is seeking extension of parole on the ground that he has to get his son admitted to a coaching/institute for preparation of JEE/NEET examination for which his son has to appear in examination scheduled to be conducted on 31.03.2024 and 07.04.2024.

Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, parole granted to the petitioner vide order dated 23.02.2024 stands extended for a period of one week on the same terms and conditions. The petitioner will surrender before the concerned authority after expiry of one week. 7.

Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of. 8.

Copy of this order be sent to Jail Superintendent concerned forthwith. 9.
