The Petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the Respondents to release the land admeasuring 12.475 acres being Rect. No. 41, Killa No. 11/2 (2-0), 12/1/2 (0-7), 13/2 (6-18), 14/1 (5-03), 17 (6-06), 18 (8-0), 19 (8-0), 20 (8-0), 21 (8-0), 22/1 (5-07), 22/2 (2-13), 23 (8-0), 24 (610), and Rect. No. 55, Killa No. 2 (8-0), 3 (8-0), 4 (6-16) at Village Sohna, District Gurgaon, Haryana and accept an alternate security in the sum of Rs.91,40,104/-, which according to the Petitioner is the value of the attachment attributable to the said land.

It is pertinent to mention herein that the land in question has been attached by a Provisional Attachment Order dated 03.12.2022. The Petitioner herein gave a representation on 13.03.2023 offering security in the nature of a Fixed Deposit.

Today, it is stated by the learned Counsel for the Respondent that he has instructions to state that the Enforcement Directorate is prepared to accept fixed deposit for the equivalent value of attachment of Rs.91,40,104/, in the name of the Director of Enforcement.

In view of the submission made by the learned Counsel for the Enforcement Directorate, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. 5.
The Petitioner is directed to give the Fixed Deposit in the name of the Director, Enforcement Directorate to the Investigating Officer within one week from today. Needless to state that the Fixed Deposit would be renewed periodically till the end of trial.

It is made clear that this Court has not made any observations on the merits of the case.
