The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that the petitioner be released on parole in connection with FIR No. 289/2006, under Sections 302/34 of the IPC, registered with PS Sarai Rohilla. 4.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner had applied for grant of parole to attend his father's barsi and he also has to attend a marriage ceremony in his family, which is now scheduled on 12.04.2020 (sic. 12.02.2020).

In view of the averments made in the present petition, this Court considers is apposite to direct the concerned authority to consider this

petition as the petitioner's application for parole and communicate its final decision as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within a period of ten days from today. It is so directed.

The petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
