It is stated by Mr. Kumar, learned counsel for the judgment debtor that the judgment dated 19.03.2024 in Misc Case (Arb.) No. 03/2021 (renumbered as Misc. Arb (Com) 18/2021) where the section 34 petition filed by judgment debtor was dismissed has been challenged in appeal under Section 37 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 which is likely to be listed soon.

I am of the view that there is no ground to delay the payment of the awarded amount.

For the said reasons, the judgement debtor shall make the payment of the awarded amount with up-to-date interest to the decree holder within two weeks from today, in case the award is not stayed, varied or modified. 4.
