The application is disposed of.

W.P.(C) 2766/2020 & CM No.9688/2020 (for temporary relief) 3.

This petition has been filed, pleading that though the petitioner was issued offer dated 5th February, 2020 of appointment as CT/DCPO in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and reported for duty on 21st February, 2020, but on 27th February, 2020 was asked to return. 4.

The counsel for the petitioner confirms that nothing in writing was intimated to the petitioner and the petitioner was only verbally asked to leave.

The counsel for the respondents states that the case of the petitioner has been referred to the Screening Committee to go into the question, W.P.(C) 2766/2020

whether a candidate against whom a criminal case is pending is to be appointed or not and whether he made the correct disclosure or not and the case of the petitioner will be considered by the Screening Committee and decision in writing communicated to the petitioner. 6.

On enquiry, whether any hearing is given by the Screening Committee, it is stated that no hearing is given. 7.

This petition is disposed of by directing the present petition to be considered as a representation of the petitioner to the Screening Committee and directing the Screening Committee to consider, decide and communicate its decision in writing to the petitioner within eight weeks of today. 8.

Needless to state, that if the petitioner remains aggrieved, the petitioner shall have remedies including on the grounds urged in this petition.
