None appears for the petitioners.

2.

The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to respondent nos. 1 and 2 to take appropriate steps to provide protection to the petitioners in view of continuous threats being received by respondent no.3 (who is the father of petitioner no.2). 3.

The petitioners claim that they have married each-other and none of them is below the marriageable age. They state that they had solemnised the marriage contrary to the wishes of respondent nos. 3 and 4 (parents of petitioner no.2) and they apprehend that respondent no.3 is likely to harm them.

The concerned SHO shall evaluate the threat perceptions and ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners. He shall also provide mobile numbers of the beat staff in order for the petitioners to contact the police officials in case of any eventuality.

7.

It is further directed that respondent no.2 shall ensure that the petitioners are not removed from the jurisdiction of this Court, except by an order passed by a court of competent jurisdiction. 8.
