This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent/CBSE to correct the name of the father of the petitioner as 'Anil Kumar' from 'Anil Malik' and to issue a fresh class X certificate with necessary roll number and registration number. 2.

The case of the petitioner is that 'Anil Malik' is the home name of the father of the petitioner, whereas the official name of the father of the petitioner is 'Anil Kumar', which is evident from Election I-Card, Aadhar Card etc.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner/ Anisha(minor) has given the class XII examination and in case the change in the name of the father of the petitioner is not done expeditiously, the same problem would arise with the class XII certificate. 4.

Let the respondent/CBSE treat this writ petition as a representation on

behalf of the petitioner for correction of the name of the father of the petitioner from 'Anil Malik' to 'Anil Kumar'. 5.

Keeping in view the urgency expressed by the learned counsel for petitioner, the said representation of the petitioner be disposed of within three weeks from today. If for some reasons, the respondent/CBSE does not agree with the request of the petitioner, a reasoned order would be passed. In case, the petitioner is aggrieved by the said order, liberty is granted to the petitioner to take appropriate steps against the said order as per law. 6.

With the above direction, the present petition is disposed of. All pending applications, if any, are also disposed of. 7.

A copy of this order be given dasti under the signatures of the court master.
