Subsequent to the previous order dated 29th July, 2024, the complainants in both the matters have filed their affidavits on record stating that they have settled their disputes and differences with the respective accused in the cross-FIR Nos.142/2017 and 143/2017 PS New Usman Pur The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. under Sections 307/323/147/148/149/34 of IPC and Sections 25/27 of Arms Act.

Complainants are present before this Court and state that these issues arose out of an altercation between the parties and they have resolved their disputes.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the cross-FIR Nos.142/2017 and 143/2017 PS New Usman Pur under Sections 307/323/147/148/149/34 of IPC and Sections 25/27 of Arms Act and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 5.
Accordingly, the petitions are disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
