The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs: The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Photographs have been filed along with the petition showing the ongoing construction.

It is also the case of the petitioner that the ongoing construction has caused damage to the property of the petitioner, who is an immediate neighbour.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent/MCD, on advance notice, submits that the unauthorized construction in the shape of ground floor, first floor, second floor along with projections on the municipal land have been booked and a show-cause notice has been issued on 8th April, 2026. Further, a work stop notice dated 10th April, 2026 has been sent to the concerned SHO, Police Station-Uttam Nagar, New Delhi calling upon them to stop the ongoing construction.

The aforesaid documents which are handed over in Court today are taken on record.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondent/MCD and the respondent no.6/SHO to take appropriate action in accordance with law.

The SHO shall ensure that no unauthorized construction is carried out in terms of the work stop notice issued by the respondent/MCD. 7.

unauthorised construction, she is at liberty to take appropriate remedies in accordance with law.
