O R D E R

% 12.04.2019 The present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking protection from respondent Nos. 3 to 5 who are stated to be the family members of the petitioner No.1.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contended that the petitioners got married on 12.03.2019 at Masjid Vijay Nagar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh against the wishes of their families and now they are under serious threat of life from Respondent Nos.3 to 5.

Status report has been filed on behalf of the State wherein they have verified the factum of marriage as well as their residential address as provided in the petition. Status report further reveals that on enquiry the father of petitioner no.1 has given a statement to the police that since his daughter has already got married with petitioner no.2, he and his family

members will have no relation with petitioner no.1 and will not interfere in the life of the petitioners. Status Report filed by the SHO, PS Madnapur District, Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh has also been perused. Heard.

It has been brought on record that the beat and division staff of Police Station, Kalindi Kunj have been briefed to coordinate with the petitioners. Phone numbers of SHO/Insp, Mr. Sanjay Sinha, 8750870922, ASI/beat officer, Shodan Singh, 9810934565 alongwith other police officials have been provided to the petitioners which are detailed in the status report dated 12.04.2019. Both the petitioners have been briefed to contact the police officials of Police Station, Kalindi Kunj in case of any threat. In case the police officials of Police Station, Kalindi Kunj receive any call from the petitioners, the same shall be attended to and taken seriously. Accordingly, petition stands disposed of.

Copy of this order be given dasti under the signatures of Court Master.

Crl. M.A. 6466/2019 (interim protection) In view of the orders passed in the main petition, the present application is rendered infructuous.

Application stands disposed of.
